Dr Wai Lup Wong MRCP FRCR
Wai Lup Wong BA (Hons) FRCP (Lond) FRCR Consultant Radiologist, Senior Lecturer at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood. He is President of the Radiology Section at the Royal Society of Medicine. He is a member of the Administration of Radioactive Substances Committee and is on the National Cancer Research Institute Head and Neck Cancer Clinical Studies Group. As clinical lecturer at St Thomas’ Hospital, he took the radiological lead in the team that pioneered the technique to computer combine PET to CT and MR in the head and neck and so demonstrated the advantage of PET CT in the assessment of head and neck cancer.

Dr Anthony A Chambers MRCP FRCR Consultant Radiologist at Mount Vernon Hospital and North West London Hospitals NHS Trust
As a radionuclide radiology fellow at Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals developed a special interest in PETCT. Lead in urological cancer imaging and radionuclide radiology in NWLH. Part of the audit team of the national PETCT service. He is also training programme director for the clinical radiology scheme, overseeing the training of registrars and fellows and is on the executive board of the London School of Radiology.

Our resident Clinical Scientist is a State Registered Medical Physicist with 15 years of hardware and software experience in medical imaging projects and has published on PET research
Gwen Beynon, DCR (R) PET/CT Superintendent Radiographer
Gwen took up her position as PET/CT Superintendent in April 2011 having worked at Mount Vernon Hospital in nuclear medicine since 1993. Gwen's 30 years of extensive nuclear medicine experience gained both in the UK and abroad makes her well qualified to lead the Scanner Centre team of PET/CT radiographers and technologists.
We also have a a number of additional permanent members of staff who spend time in PET/CT on a rota basis.
