Each year The Fairway Inn, Rickmansworth adopts a theme for the Christmas period and this year it was an ‘Arabian Night’ which was the setting of our successful Quiz Night held on Friday 11th November.
More than 100 people took part in the event raising over £1100 for the Scanner Appeal. The Nobels came out tops snatching first team prize from 5 Poofs & an Electrician and in third place it was The Unforgetables.
The Muppets won best team name and even wore badges they had made featuring Muppet Characters. They enjoyed a delicious prize of giant chocolate cupcakes donated by The Village Bakery, Harefield. Tesco, Rickmansworth and Making Scents, Harefield also donated prizes.
This is the second Quiz Night held this year and it’s such a success that we are planning two more next year – watch out for more details soon!
