Half Marathon to help save lives

Michaela, Leanne and Kelly are taking part in the Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon on 11th March raising funds for the Scanner Appeal.
This is what they have to say on their Facebook page.
We are running 13.2 miles on March 11th for an amazing charity, The Paul Strickland Centre. They provide a service for Cancer patients that the NHS do not offer.. They survive on generous donations from the public and that alone which save people's lives every day throughout the UK. Without the help of The Paul Strickland Centre, people around the world would be no further forward with the treatment of cancer patients.

We are running for a very special Lady that got diagnosed with cancer early September 2011, not only has she undergone aggressive chemotherapy, she is undergoing a major operation on 16th February 2012. Although she will not be there watching and cheering us on, I know she will be proud of us. This charity is not only close to our heart it has helped many loved ones we care for and love.

For more details on how you can support Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, call Fundraising Manager Rina Rawal on 01923 844290.
